eileen parkes died 29 november 2007 aged 67 was a house wife lived at home with her husband don parkes she had no brothers no sisters she had 5 children garry maxine julie alison andrew and husband don she had 16 granchildren and 4 great granchildren she died after a long illness with cancer. she was a wonderful person very caring liked dancing socializing loved all her family so dearly.i miss mam so much love you so much mam and you will always be in my thourts good night god bless mam xxx by her daughter julie xxx
A FACE IN THE CLOUDS
I looked towards the clouds today
and for a moment saw your face,
And wondered just were you have gone
with a hope it's a better place.
Did you show yourself to me today
to tell me you're alright?
Or was it just a daydream
playing tricks upon my sight.
Then i thought of when you left
you did not say a word,
Yet the look you gave us said it all
in our hearts your good-bye was heard.
You have changed our lives forever,
Your time here not in vain
and hope you know we tried it all
to keep you safe from pain.
We will always feel the void inside
because you are not here,
But each knew thought you send our way
let's us know you're always near.

WHEN WE LOSE A LOVED ONE
When we lose a loved one
our world just falls apart,
We think that we can't carry on
with this broken heart.
Everything is different now
you're upset and you're annoyed,

there's such an awful void.
There's got to be a reason
and we have to understand,
God made us and at any time
he'll reach down for our hand.
There might not be a warning

Footprints
One night aman had a dream inwhich he walked along the sand and beside him walked the lord who held him by the hand. Suddenly, scenes fromhis life began to flash across the sky and, with his every footprinthe saw the lord's were nearby. Then, his heart became despondent for, whentroubled times he'd seen there was only one set of footprints where before two sets had been. so, he said to the lord why weren't you at my side at those times i needed you as my freind and as my guide?' THE LORD ANSWERED KINDLY THE FOOTPRINTS THAT YOU SEE ARE THE TIMES WHEN I CARRIED YOU AND THEY WERE MAde by me.'
